    Now you have your bespoke website live it needs to be cared for. From the essentials of keeping your sites plugins up (security) to date, to monthly updates from changing copy and images to adding new pages.

    I offer three monthly packages to suit your individual requirements. You are able to upgrade at any time to ensure your website is always evolving to suit your business needs.

    Required = Essential package

    Desired = Standard or VIP packages

    Examples of the type of updates carried out within the Essential, Standard and V.I.P packages.

    • Add new content to existing (charged at an hourly rate for Essential package)
    • Image updates, including optimising to ensure fast load speed (charged at an hourly rate for Essential package)
    • Basic styling changes (charged at an hourly rate for Essential package)
    • Adding pages (charged at an hourly rate for Essential and Standard packages )

    When you exceed the time allocated for the package purchased, you will then be charged at the aftercare hourly rate which is £35, this will be agreed before further work is undertaken.

    If you decide you are happy to take full ownership just remember to keep your plugins updated.

    How does it work?

    Discuss

    At the beginning of the project, when I have received the request for me to create a website for you I will look at what is required and if need be set up a call to discuss further.

    Then set out a rough timeline and explain the process in great detail and answer any questions which you may have.

    At this stage the initial 30% deposit will be payable.

    Design

    This where I start to create a wire frame layout of the home page using Figma. I will share this for you for your feedback.

    Once this is signed off and you are happy I will start the create the other pages in the website.

    Develop

    I will now build the homepage along with additional pages on a staging site for you to view and make any changes you may need.

    A further payment of 50% will now be due before this stage commences.

    Deliver

    At this stage everything is approved by you, and it is time for you to purchase your domain name and web hosting service.

    Once this is in place you would need to share the log in details with me so I can install WordPress and transfer your website from the staging site to your live domain.

    The final 20% instalment would also be due now.
